When I first got married, my wife absolutely hated sports, so I took it as a personal mission to convert her to like the sports I watch the most, thus sparing any additional arguments. My first task was to get her to into Hockey. Luckily for me, she immediately took to it because all the players were in great physical shape, and in turn a lot of them were "hot". I seized the moment and took her to a few games. Amazingly, the first game we went to went into overtime, and out hometown team won. I told her that most games aren't like this, but she was hooked - all because of the experience. Now she sports a jersey and all kinds of merchandise for hockey. My next task would be daunting. It was football. Keep in mind that we've been married for 6 years and that she has always hated football until this past SuperBowl. What changed her mind? It wasn't the teams playing. It wasn't the look of the jerseys. It wasn't the players It wasn't the commercials. It was the fact that when the Steelers were celebrating, a lot of the players has their children with them. It was at that point where she made the connection of having something in common with the player. So, how does this relate to seo? All the traffic in the world to your site won't do you any good unless you can connect with the user in some way - through visuals, audio or talking about some experience that everyone can relate to.
