Free content is available to all who want it. My question is why? If you are too lazy to create unique content for your site, you will NEVER achieve top rankings for any amount of time. Top rankings take effort and know-how. I know people use free content to populate their sites, but don't you think at some point the SE's will wise up and see that all that recycled information as spam?
