Farewell to Howard Stern

Whether or not you agree with, or listen to Howard Stern, there are some things that you can never take away from him:

His creativeness.

Because of FCC regualtions, he created the pop culture usage of saying "F that" or "F" him, etc -

We all know what that means, yet at the same time, it can't  be bleeped or censored.

His show is oddly compelling - his show makes fun of all walks of life, and he doesn't care who he offends.

While most of the entertainment world tries to be cutting edge without crossing the line, Stern crosses it - and how can anyone be "at the edge" of something without going over the line to see what the limits are?

Starting in January '06, his show will be on Sirius and he wil ba able to curse and fully explore any avenue that was previously un-realistic on radio.

I am not sure his show will be as good - because with the lack of restrictions, it's easier to drop some F bombs rather than come up with some creative way to convey the same message.

Someone will have to keep me posted - I think it'll be a few years before I go satellite...

-To your online success!
