Many times MSN and Yahoo can lend a preview of where your site will rank in Google. When I began optimizing my site, I was able to see results in Yahoo and MSN within days, whereas it took Google almost 5 months to see any results... But.... When Googel finally caught up to the other 2, my efforts paid off. Point is, I really think you can look at your search results in the other 2 to see where your site will be in a few months in Google.
